My Poor Blog I Have Missed You!

I got an Email saying that someone had unsubscribed to my blog and I got to thinking, wow I didn't know I still had subscribers. I have not posted on this blog since Nov 2009....... sad I know!

well little update for those of you who don't know, I'm soon to be a divorced woman and I have moved to Oregon with my four little ones. It has been a life changing experience but I'm living though it.

It's a crazy world out there I tell ya. Finding a job has been imposable but I'm still looking. The schools here are appalling but there are choices, so the kids will go to a tech charter school next year. one year in the public schools here was enough for this girl. charter schools are becoming the new way to go in this state.

I'm not sure how long i will stay on the coast looking at maybe Portland or Salem as better alternatives or going completely opposite and moving to the tiniest town ever and living a beautiful life of nothingness (sounds like heaven to me)

for the most part i have been happy over the last year, i have had to make a lot of decisions that were not easy but i believe they have been the right ones!

Jasmine and Ava are still dancing and Jasmine is amazing so beautiful to watch she is going places with this and she is till getting all A's in school. Ava on the other hand i think is over the dance thing so we r going to try something different next year looking strongly at gymnastics she is also doing fab in her first year of school. smart little ladies i have

Henry starts school next year and is very excited about it he cant wait to ride the bus lol of all the things to look forward to the bus is it for him funny!

thatcher.............. well he is a little ham like having 40 kids all wrapped up in one, ya he keeps me on my toes that's for sure!

all in all I'm loving my new life the stress of not having any money and the change of lifestyle has taken some getting used to but i would rather go with out for now then go back to the way things were.

still a lot of choices to make before this hole thing is over in June but I'm doing my best! i will post as many happy blogs as i can sorry crafters I'm kinda out of it for the mean time don't have the time money or creative frame of mind for it right now but i have been taking lots of pics and I'm in the proses of editing right now so there will be many!

In my creative defence I took the picture, made the tutu, did her hair, and edited the picture!!!! but geeeeeez I am sure having a hard time trying to get in the craft room!!!! (call it lack of motivation)

I really do have a stack of card ready to go on here I just need to take the dang photos!!!! I can say that I am really enjoying my new camera and you can see all of my new photos by visiting the filckr link in my side bar!!

It's Fall!!!!

It is so fall we have had to rake leaves and I think Marty just mowed the lane for the last time this year!!!! I just went to the store and got everything to make cookies (this being the only time of the year i make them!!)

I have made all of my Christmas cards and the plane tickets are all ready for us to go to Oregon for the holidays!!! life is good!

I have a stack of cards that i have made that I will be posting in the next few days and more fall pics of the kids!! thanks for looking and enjoy your holiday's!!!

Can I just say that purple is the strangest color ever!! in fact when I saw the challenge at SCS I had to play along only because none on my purple CS had ever been open NONE of it!!!! I do have to say i am happy with the card, there is a finger print in purple ink right under the grunge board but oh well what ya gonna do!!!

I am so in love with my new camera!!!! my dear sweet DH got me the Nikon D5000 it is a dslr for beginners and a step up from my D40(that i still love and will never part with)!!!!!

these were fun I got the cricut design studio and sure cuts alot and have hardly been able to quit playing with it!!

did you know that you can cut almost any true type or dingbat fonts with the true cuts alot and you can find 1000's of them online for free!!!!!!! wow beats spending $60 for one font cartridge there is so much you can do with the cricut I did not know was possible!

K Warner has a great video and the are a few others on YouTube that show you the possibilities!!

there are a few things you need to know before you just buy it!!! and instead of my typing it all out here you can watch this video!!

this stuff is making scrapping fun again!!!

My internet was down again yesterday and most of the morning time Warner SUCKS!!!!!

this card is for LPS Monday nut I didn't get to post it so I thought I would do it now!!! I used "sweet"

there is a sketch over at the DT blog with all the lovely samples the rest of the DT put together!!!!

this is my back to the basics card!! what can be more basic the patterned paper you can even get the stuff at the $tree!!

I got the paper at walmart the stamp from little paper shop, I cut the circles whit the Martha Stuart circle cutter I also got that a walmart!!!

yawn stretch rub'n my eyes!!!!!!!! yep that's right I just pulled my lazy butt out of bed and let me tell ya, I think I could probably run a marathon right now!!!!

this card is for a combo of things. first today is color challenge and release day for little paper shop yippy for new stamps ya'll!!! my card is only part of the color challenge cause i only have on piece of craft CS left and it being my fave i am just to darn stingy to cut into it!!!(and i posted the CC yesterday oops) :o) but the pink and green are there!!! the sentiment is from LPS!!!!!

next on what this card covers is my back to the basics week three wand what could be more basic than your printer and a piece of ribbon!!??

the dog ate my home work

i have had the worst two days ever and this is no real good reason for me not to have a card ready to post for little paper shop but i don't

last night i was playing with thatcher when the little turd scratched my eye and now i cant keep it open long enough to do anything I have the worst headache and i hurt to leave it closed!!! AAAAAAAAAArrrrrrrrrgggg!!! and as for the dog (Henry, we don't have a dog) i was trying to get dinner done and he thought it would be fun to cut up some paper in my room and as you can probably guess it was the card i was working on for today!!!!! again arrrrrrg!!!!!

so here is my promise for tomorrow i will have two cards ready for your viewing pleasure and i want cry about any of my aches and pains!!!

be for I get into the card I am going to say this DO NOT EVER BUY A CISCO WIRELESS ROUTER!!!!!!! I have to be sitting right next to the fricking thing just to get it to work!!!!!

All right this is this weeks back to the basics card and again it is very simple but it still has all the design elements that catch the eye!!!! dimension is very important along with the focal point and a small amount of embellishment! you don't need a lot to say a lot! this is a baby card I made for my sister who just had her third baby girl (who by the way is very cute)

You can make this card using any thing from stickers to die cuts or something you have simply drawn and cut out! any background stamp or doodling and a corner rounder and border punch and you can get all of the at walmart or any store with a craft section!! in place of the border punch you could use deco scissors!!!

I really hope you have enjoyed this weeks card (to days late)

Welcome to LPSC23_Sketch Challenge!!!! This sketch was put together for us by Allison over at stampin when I can

and when we call this a challenge it really was for me!!! I stared at this sketch for lord only knows how long and nothing was coming to me!!! I think I picked up all of the LPS stamps I have and I have most of them and I still was coming up blank!!!!!

till I found the colors I wanted to use then every thing just fell into place!!

Back To The Basics Tuesday!!!

I really kind of miss how much fun card making was before I was trying to be the best (I am so not the best) but I think you know what I mean!!!!! When you go through through the galleries wishing you had this die or that DP all the newest coolest paper crafting products that really hit the pocket book!!!

Then I realized that was were my mojo was hiding!!!! I had now want to use what i had because it wasn't what the Jones were using. till now!!!!

I love the simplest of cards and so I have decided to make the most basic of cards using the most basic of products!!!

a year or so ago I made a card for a DP challenge on SCS and it is still one of my more popular cards being faved over 130 times and cased many times and for that I am flattered!!! The card uses only two tiny stamps and tiny scraps of paper! but the simplicity if the card is what i was drawn to. So i really hope you like the star card reborn!!! thanks for looking and if you have any simple ideas you would like the share please leave a comment!!

*supplies*

80lbs white card stock, scraps of DP, SU star punches, PTI buttons & twine, and a tiny craft tag cut on the cricut!

*what you could uses in stead*

110lbs stamper select CS from PTI, die cut images or cutouts, brads eyelets or dew drops,

you can make a tag out of and scrap of paper cut by hand and added to your card like journaling strips!

LPS Monday!!!

Last Monday was one of the kind of days that only comes from H*E*L*L everything was all going on at once!!! Ok so that is why I did not post last Monday but I am here to make up for it today!!!!!

this is the latest sketch from Little Paper Shop and it is a fun one I had this card done in like 5 minutes and then i was bummed that it was done................ so I did next weeks card to!! :o)

the stamped cupcake is from LPS's sweet one of mt faves!

I have decided that once a week I will be doing a back to the basics card. What this will be is a very simple card made with products even the newest stampers can get there hands on! this card will be posted every Tuesday with a list of what I used and a second list of what could be used in its place! Here lately it seems that I am starting to get a bit of my MOJO back and after a year of just not really wanting to stamp, even though it is some thing I love very much, it is just nice for me to sit down and stamp some thing just for me!!!

Yes, Ava was so sure that this was her that I had to tell her it was!!!!!

I was going to make another cause I really don't dig the colors, but when Ava did the meeeeeeeeee squeel I fell in love with the card!!!!!!

I just love getting new stuff and I have not got anything new in so long that it is a real treat to play with paper again!!!!

I got the cricut 2 years ago for Christmas and have only used it maybe twice in that time!!! but the other day I found the cutest cartridges for it, and thought why not and blew the dust off of it, and got to cutting!!!! I had been in love with the tiny tags that Debbie O uses on her cards, but I do not have the dies for them (:o( so I just pulled out a really old cricut cartridge and cut some with that. the only difference is they are not embossed like the nestie ones!!! but still cute!!!

the stamp button and CS are also all new (to me anyways) from PTI!!!!

I was love'n the apple so much that I thought I might play with it some more and OMG I could not stop!!! This is a gift card set with four cards and envelopes four tags and two colors of ribbon for making the envelopes pretty. I also added a book mark and two colored pencils! I made a tray to fit inside one of the clear boxes from papertrey ink every thing fit together so nicely!!! you can see the card alone here!!

I thought the cards would make nice teacher gifts with a gift card from Starbucks!!

Cute Little Apple!!!

I have totally got sooooooooo much done today!! I stained the deck (all of it, and we rent), got the laundry folded the kids have eaten 2 meals, and I made a card!!!! Now that school is out I have Jasmine home all day and girls, I love her dearly but I had no clue just how needy she is!!!! mom will u curl my hair, can we make a card, will you make some cookies with me!!! I would love to do all of those things with her and I will, but man this is just the first day summer vaca!!!!

I don"t scrapbook very often but this Picture was begging me to!!!! that and I got a new cricket thing-e!!!

My dad lives on hid boat in Alaska and he want pictures of the kids for fathers day, but living in such a small space he can hang pictures! and he loves it when I send him scrapbook pages so this will be one of eight!!

the color of the pic is not so great but it is night time and there is no good light anywhere in the house, but it is okay!!

LPS Monday!!!!

I have been stamping for two days straight now, so I will have more posts for you very soon!!!!! this is my all time fave set from Little Paper Shop!! It is called peace!!!

I needed a sweet note card, jasmine is a bit freaked out about the state testing this week, she is in the third grade and this is the first year she has had to take them!!!! she has only asked me 400 time what will happen if she doesn't pass. so I thought I would send her a card a day till the tests are over, maybe that will calm her down a bit!!!! Jasmine is my perfectionist child!!!! she hate missing on her tests, she got an 89 in reading comp and almost had a panic attack!!!!

any ways I have new pics of the garden, and a new handbag I made coming up!!! and next week is the little paper shop monthly release, so ya'll will be seeing a lot of me!!! I can't wait to show you jasmines b-day party invits!!!

So this is what I came up with for my laptop, and I have to say I kind of like it!!! I was going to add one long pocket across the front of the bag but I went with side pockets instead!!!

this is the first pattern I have made all by my self YEAH ME!!!! I was kind of surprised at how easy it was to make after I figured out what I wanted to do!

I will put it all together so you can download it if you want to !!! it might take me a while but I will get it done as soon as possible!!!

I made this a week or so ago. then I thought I might just save it for a rainy day,and raining it is!!!!!!!! this is one of the OCC sketches I don't play that often anymore but I liked this one!!

so I have been working on a pattern for a laptop case and I would like to know what ya'll think make a good case some thing u would buy!!?? I have some pretty good ideas of what i would like but making the pattern is not as easy as I thought it would be!!!! I also have a new handbag started and I will post it soon!!!!

I have had a couple of people ask me to send them a copy of the patterns i use and sadly i can not do that cause I #1 don't have any way of copying them and i also don't have copyright on the patterns so I can't just sell or give them away!!! but I can tell you were to buy them and a lot of other cool stuff!!!

A Card And A Day With My Babies!!!

I love the sentiments in this new set by little paper shop they are kind of funny kind of sweet!!!! they are a must have for all your birthday card making needs!!!! it is called growing old!!!! and like i said funny!!!! All three sets are available tomorrow and lps has some cool stuff going on, on the LPS blog so be sure to head over there!!!!!

the weather if finally getting warmer here, I think it is going to quit freezing wooohooo!!! we took the boat out to run the winter out of it and the kids loved it. They were kind of upset that we would not let them go swimming, but the water is still to cold!!! We did make it up to them they think it is so cool to go have lunch by boat, much cooler than a car just ask Jasmine and Ava!!!

I am not sure if u can see it but i did use a wheel across the bottom!!!! it is stamped in versa mark!!!! I tried to add as many little details as I could with out over doing it. the buttons were my one embellishment and i cheated slightly by adding ribbon in one button! also by cutting apart the sentiment sponging and the paper piercing, along with punched corners and border!!!

all in all I am pretty happy with this card thank for looking!!!

A Baby Card!!!

I think I am going to have a panic attack........ I just cut into my last beautiful piece of baja blue!!!!!!!! I have not made a order from SU in months and I think this is what is going to drive me to do, and once i get started i cant stop. I also have not got any thing from PTI my total fave in online shopping!!!!!!! I am the worst in the shopaholic department!!!!

Anywho I mad this card for an old friend, she just found out she was having a boy!!!!! I am very happy for her,she told me just two more and she would be all caught up with me!!!!! I replied girl you are CRAZY!!!!!!!

am plotting a card the only colors that come to mind are baja and kiwi!!! do they make a 12 step program for this!!!

alright so this is the first time i have done a OCC challenge and i chose to do this cause the color challenge had not been posted and i just really wanted to stamp to day!!!!!

So I have to say that I am completely obsessed with American Idol this year!!!! Not so much the show as one contestant, Adam Lambert!!!!! WOW this guy can sing!!!!

I would love to hear your thoughts! I really just wanted to dish about the show and find out who u all think is it this year!!!!

Not colors I would think to put together, but when it is all said and done I think I like it!!!!!! This set is called blessing and it in from this months release at LPS the DP is from PTI and the grunge is from Tim Holtz I kind of used this months DD sketch, other than that I kind of kept it simple!

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who still comes to this blog! when it comes to my creative mojo, it is all hit and miss. I think it may be back this week, as for next week who knows, but I have been having a blast playing some of the blog, and SCS challenges. So again thank you!!!!

I have been slowly going through my ribbon bits and pieces for for a while i will not be using large amounts of it!!! I have to quit being so wasteful!!

I could not find my Swiss dots and really wanted it for this card but did fins birds and swirls and think it worked well the main image is PTI and the sentiment is LPS my two faves for the best clear stamps!!! all paper is SU! and all the embellishment were from yesterdays treasure hunt around my room!!!!! Wow you should so see my room right now!!!! I got out every stamp every pack of old DP every old embelishment I have ever stored away!!! I found some really great stuff. I am calling this my treasure hunt!!!! The frame around the main image i got at hobby lobby like 5 years ago! the ribbon is from my coffee can of scrap ribbon the fake due drops have not been used forever! well most of my stuff hasn't I got all but the Kiwi Kiss out of the scrap box and I even got out something besides Swiss dots for the cuttle bug!!! The stamps are last years PTI sets, even the grunge board is something I had forgotten about!!! what a fun stamping day!!! and I even made time to clean the kitchen today. I feel very productive to day!!!!

now that I have stamped just for the heck of it I should probably clean my huge mess up I think I may only leave a small stack of stamps out and slowly go through them!!!!! I found 15 plus stamp sets that have never been used what a waist!!!

I think but can't be sure that I might be back tomorrow

with another card and I have some really funny pics of Thatcher eating dirt out of the garden!!!

I thought if I am going to do a tutorial I should start out easy and hope ya'll like and want more!!!! I went with the felt flower for the first tutorial, mostly because most every one who reads this blog is a paper crafter, and most of you have the nesties dies.

It does move kind of quickly, and I am sorry about that, I am new to this and I could not figure out how to slow it down, but I will work on that for the next tutorial!!!!!!

the next tutorial I will be doing is a small stash and dash hand bag great for quick trips, or even a night out with the ladies! I love mine so I will be working on that so ya'll can make one to!!!!

some one asked if they could buy a bag from me, and I would be more than happy to do that!!! at this time I do not have a lot to choose from, but if you gave me an idea of color and size of pattern, I could work something out. I am more than happy to take check, postal money order, or paypal!!!!! the shoulder bag I showed in the blog candy post is $45.00 that includes shipping

Please don't think I have given up on stamping. I think that I was, and kind of still am in a creative funk. So I went with sewing to clear my head for a while!!!

I still have littler paper shop keeping me stamping every month, and I had a few comment that had me digging through my old stamps to see what I could come up with!!!!! I really think that the 25 comment I got will make my return to crafting soooooooo much easier!!!!!

I made the top bag for my sister, and then it happened. I fell in love with it, and then wanted to keep it for myself!!! I just could not do that....... mostly because I already told her I made it. So I went ahead and made one for me!! the blue one!!!!!!!!

So here is what I am going to do because I did not post blog candy when I said I would I am going to make one more of these pretty bags and I am going to stuff it with some stamping odds and ends!!!!!

My DH and I have decided to plant a garden this year, we chosen a spot and tilled the ground it has all been a very fun process. then I stop and think for a second................... I have never been able to keep anything but kids alive so I have to ask myself what am I thinking!!!!!!!!

so now that I have a huge garden tilled up and waiting for it to quit freezing over night some pointers from some one who knows what they are doing would be great!!!

we Have Started many different veggie seeds in our garage and most of them have started to sprout woo hoo now I am going crazy wanting to get them in the ground!!!

please I would love to hear what ya'll have to say and any help would be fab!!!

My Newest Hand Bag!!!

I made this a week or so ago and thought that I would share it with you to day!!! I was going to make a card and i still might, but my DH twisted his back and has been put on strict bed rest!!!!! I am sure you ladies know how men get when they are hurt either they turn into cry babies or they just don't listen and end up hurting them selves more mine is a combo of both so stamping on this fine day is most likely out!! The only reason I am able to blog is cause I have the laptop on the bed sitting right next to him!!! What ever I don't mine he takes care of us everyday!!!

I Picked up this pattern when I went home a few weeks ago and it is Amy Butler ( my fav) and the fabric I got at your run of the mill craft store I frays a lot till you get it sewn together not the best but it is pretty!!!!

this crazy little thing we call life!!!!

last week I want home to attend my 94 year old grandmothers funeral, now let it be known that I did not know my grandmother very well it had been nearly 9 years scenes I had seen her last, Jasmine was 9 days old!!! When I has gone to Oregon for my sisters wedding my dad went to see his mom. He told me that she only had some small idea of who he was! the nurse told her "this is Joe" and she looked at him and said "I have a son named Joe". I think that would rip my heart out to have my mother not know who I was she is the one I always call home to weather it be good news, or bad, most often it is just to talk about nothing!!!! My dad took it for as long as he could stand, having a sneaking feeling that it would be the last time he would get to see her. he was right!!!! My dad is a sensitive guy the kind of guy that cries at the airport when he tells you good bye, or when he has just a little to much to drink (you know the kind sitting there crying in there beer) he even cried the day Jasmine was born, but I had never seen tears like the day he laid his mom to rest!!!! I was so sad for him I think I would have been mad at myself for skipping this on they all said don't worry about making the trip. Having 4 kids and it being clear across the US!! but my DH for the first time in our 8 years had a completely selfless moment, and got me the plane ticket and sent me on my way with out the kids (must admit that was so great to not fly with the kids) and I went to be with my dad in the saddest time for him!!

It is really had to believe even at 94 and being old as long as I have known her to here some the the truly inspiring thing that she had done in her life! I won't go into all of her life with ya'll just let me tell you she was a very strong and amazing woman who lived a had life with endless obstucles and made the best of every moment!!!! what a fabulous life she had I only hope that when it is my time that great things will be said about me as well!!!

this is way late today but Ava has an ear infection and had to go to the doctor. dose anyone else have a doc office that think it is funny to make you wait 3 hours to have some one tell you what you already know!!!!

This will come as no surprise to you, but I have no card for you to day........... but I do have banana bread, yummy!!!!!!

Really simple, and I did not get the wasteful talk for letting the banana turn brown!! you know the one, "why do you buy bananas, they never get eaten." yada yada bla bla bla!!!!!

Ava and thatcher loved it!!!!

Thatcher just had his first birthday, and his first hair cut. That one was tough, I hated having to cut that beautiful red hair, but he was starting to look like a girl!!!

Jasmine went back to school today. I think she was really ready for winter break to be over.

Ava starts back to dance tonight.

and Hank..... what can I say, potty training sucks, and he is just happy to hang out in the play room by himself!!!!

little paper shop is going to be having there new stamps sneak peeking on the DT blog, starting the 12th, you wont want to miss that!!!!

Alright I think I am going to go stamp something now I feel like such a bad stamper!!! I thing that my stamp funk comes from not having the money to get the new stuff. there is new DP I want from SU! but I had to let my demo status go till after taxes come back, and maybe not then!!! I think it is just hart to get into it when I am so behind in the stamping times!!!! I hope to have a better creative year this year, I have found that mixing it up has helped me to stay always creating something, and not just sitting in front of the TV

the card is from last weeks SC and the colors are my fave ever, kiwi kiss, baja breeze, ans Kraft.

I used kind thoughts a cuttle bug and Martha S butterfly punch!!!! I was not sure I liked it at first but the more I look at it the more I like!!!

I made another of the green handbags cause I liked it so much!!!! As I said before the pattern is Amy butler as is the fabric the second bag is not Amy but just a spendy and just as pretty!!!! I went with the ribbon closure (cause it is pretty) and on these two there is no felt flower!!!!

we took him to walmart to pick out some toys and I think it would be fun every year so that he can have something separate from Christmas!!!!

it is pretty crazy the things they do over the course of a year he walks and claps his hands he plays peek-a-boo and what a giggle this kid has on him!!!!

I promise this will be my last card with good things grow for a while. Do you know that I do not have the square nesty dies I thought that they would be the ones I needed least ………. Looking back at the last three cards I really wish I had them now!!!!!
About the card.
I used PTI brown and the PTI sunrise yellow Baja breeze and some stampin up DP. The ink is so saffron and PTI’s brown the sentiment stamp is from a friend in the UK hi Jenny!!!! And the flowers are good things grow! PTI ribbon and the cuttle bug finish it all off
So I would like for you to tell me what you think of this weeks posts and if you think I should keep posting a week at a time or not !!!
I also wanted to tell every body that I am no longer with SU or H&M Stamps there was just to much in the past few month, I think after the first of the year I will try and pick SU back up and I am still with little paper shop!!!
I think I may also try to get myself some kind of trade I really want to go to school how dose photography sound sounds good to me. I would love to get paid to do something I love!!!!!!
Stamping will forever be in my top two fav things to do but a girl has to branch out!!!!! And don’t worry I am not leaving the world of stamping there is just to many wonderful people in this “HOBBY”

Ava was 4 on the 23rd of last month and we just had her birthday party a few days ago at Pizza Hut the bottom pic is Ava playing her new Drums (all I have to say about this is Erica and Deann better just wait till there kids birthdays)
Do you see the blue eyes in the top picture let me just tell you she really knows how to use them to get what she wants!!!!!! Why do us as mommy’s and daddy’s fall for that crap!!!???????
But any ways she had a blast and now she thinks we should do it again!!!!! She was bummed when I told her only once a year!!!

I have been working on some Christmas gifts for my girlfriends, and sisters, and I am so overjoyed with how they turned out. Now the top one is one that I am going to keep, I got it all put together and then noticed that there was spot that the seem had missed. And, I just really like this bag!!!!
The pattern for this bag is an Amy Butler pattern. and the fabric on the 1st bag is also Amy Butler.
I made the flower out of felt, each of the petals were cut out with my oval nestty dies the I cut a triangle out of the bottom of each one to sew the dart in to give the flower shape. they are fastened to the bags with the SU! Pretties hat pins and beads !!!!
I know this is not what you come here to see, but it is hand made by me and I just love to share what I make!!!!!

Here is my card for the day and a new post I am starting to like the idea of doing this all on a flash drive cause then I do not have to worry about being able to post every day!!!! Thank you blogger giving us the choice of when our blogs go out!!!!
This card also uses good thing grow (cause I love it) pacific blue WW and Baja Blue for the card stock and kiwi kiss ink!!! I used the simple silver cord from last Christmas and then ran the P-blue through the Cuttle Bug
I Bet you think this card took 5 minuets but NO it took two days of me staring at it and it just not coming together like I wanted!!!
Now the more I look at it the happier I am!!!!

Jasmine Smile

Here is my new fav pic of Jasmine. We were playing in the leave like we do every year, and she told Ava to hide her from me. the only thing you could see was her face. WOW she is so beautiful when she smiles!!!!!!!! Jasmine has kind of been a pouty butt for a while now, and when she shows off that radiant smile she shines!!!!!

This is the first card for me in a while but I just loved it! My ma gave me this set of stamps and I have not been able to put it away I love every image in the set. I also made Ava’s birthday invites with this set but am so sorry I did not get a picture!!! They were as simple as this card but I used my new nesty dies on them
Lets see what is this set called?
It is good thing grow and the colors I used are Tangerine Tango, Pacific Blue, and Baja Blue!!!! The card stock is the same color plus PTI’s heavy stampers select white for the base of the card!
The sentiment it from little Paper shop and the paper pokey (as Ava Call’s it) was the final touch to a very simple card!!!!!

Well I don't know what I was thinking telling y'all that I was going to post a card cause the truth is I cant till after the first (bummer). we are in the process of moving into a much bigger house. we hate were we have been living and there was 4 of us when we moved here and now there is 6

so I guess you can say that we have out grown this place of 1600 square.feet!!!!!! The new place is a rental cause we are not going to buy till we quit moving (every 4 years), but it dose have 2400 SF a huge back yard and no catty wives!!!! ;D

my DH and I spent some time out side today And I found it to be the perfect time to take some pics!!!!!!!

The boys were asleep and Jasmine was hanging with her "girls" Ava is the only one who wanted to hang out so I now have about 500 photos of mostly Ava!!!!!

Ava was sitting in my Lap on the swing when Marty shot this I thought it was great in color but fab in B&W

And this picture was a bit tricky to get I had to sit under and behind them while there were on the swing but to me the color and the the shot were perfect

I made this card while I was at my moms house last month and thought I would share it today! the stamp set is called Christmas wishes and it is from Little Paper Shop!

I call this my free card cause I got the stamps from Julia and every thing else was my Mommy's! I do not think she was to thrilled that I cut into her new ribbon or new DP but I did make it up to her by giving her this totally rockin stamp set that I wish I still had now! A Good Day To Show Off My Babies!!!!!!!

yesterday we spent most of the day looking for a pumpkin patch with no luck. we did how ever find a road side pick your own fruit, it was not open. oh well I did get some great pics of the kids and they look like we found a pumpkin patch!!!!! We are going to give it another try!!!!

It was a blast and the kids were not to bad sitting in the truck!!! we took them to pizza hut and let them all sit at there own table!!!! They thought they were so cool!

yes I know that I do not upload near enough, this morning I felt the need to go and hang out with myself in the craft room. it was sooooooo nice!!!!it was been weeks and I just have not had the time or the will to stamp!!!!

soo me not thinking last night I posted the bag of nuts and that was going to be for tonight's blog hop at H&M Stamps so I thought instead I would post some cards that I have done with H&M Stamps!!!! this card was made late last night but the Idea for it came to me right before I "WAS" going to go to bed but then had to go stamp and you know how that is when the stamps call to you you have to go to them or the good stuff just dose not stick around for later!!!!!! all of the stamps an this card come from one of Bev's sets called old fashioned hay ride this set has sooooooo many cute images it is have to not try to fit them all in some were!!!!
this has to be one off my all time fav sets from H&M Stamps!!! I love cookies all cookies I think they are the only thing keeping me from shedding my last 20lbs of unwanted baby wait!!! this set is sure to give you many different kinds of cookies on no extra wait!!!!!
and this fun little bag uses natures style and I think it was a cool way for me to get out of my moms house with some super yummy walnuts!!!!! (yes I took them from mom) but to cover up the fact that I was stealing her spendy nuts I embellished the bag with a really huge piece of her new ribbon!!!! she did get after me for that!!!!!! anyways I think I am going to call it a night and go to bed!!!!

my sister got married after 13 years and I just could not miss that!!!so here are some pics from my trip home. The first one it me with my cutie of a cousin Bethany she is a sweetie!!!!!
I love this picture cause there is not very many of them with all of my sisters and my mom so this is on I will hold onto for ever!!!!!

Henry and Ava did not get to go on this trip so I brought the home gifts and Hank fell asleep with his cute huh!!!!

and this is Ava in the tut that I made for her she loved it so much that she had to wear it to her dance class and still did not want to take it off she told all the other girls that "my mommy make it fur me so I can be buutiful" everybody in mcdonalds thought she was so cute!!!!

this is my new hair cut I love it soooooo easy to fix

My Girl And Some Cards!!!

We have this big hoop thing out at our Park and the kids thought it would be funny to put Ava in it!!!! I don't know how funny it was but it did make for some really good pictures!!!
I finally got to order some new stamps From PTI and if you know me at all you know I am a sucker for PIT! It like throws off my entire month if I don't get to put in my I want it all order and, for the last few month I have not got to order this dose not make me happy at all. I think that I should get to order every month I do keep the house cleaner than most and I have more children to pick up after than all my friends so whats the big friggin deal DH hand over the funds!!!!

alrighty I got that out of my system so on to the card!!!! The first one uses floral frenzy and I followed the SCS weekly SC PTI dark chocolate SU! kiwi kiss and baja breeze and W-White

the next card uses first fruits and this card also sports the PTI chocolate father knows best DP SU! so saffron and creamy caramel and W-White
this card "kind of follows Beate's WSC" the DP kind of through it off!!!!

A Leaf Load!!!!!

Well I told you I would post this days ago, but I just did not get around to doing it. so here it is now I did the WSC, and the weekly SC on SCS, I also have the SFYTT started but not finished . I thought I would save that for another post!!!
This stamp set is soooo much fun to play with I is the only one on my desk right now!!! It is called a leaf load and is available at H&M Stamps. I just love the little trash bag pumpkins, I will most likely use them as embellishments on other Halloween cards!!!!!!
In other news Hanna breezed through leaving no damage in out area and the kids had a blast playing out side in the mud puddles and letting the wind blow them down the street!!!!! i will post the pictures of the when I post the SFYTT!!!!!

this first little cutie is my new niece Makenna Kay Gates and I will hopefully get to meat her at the end of next month!!!!! she was born yesterday at 4:14 west coast time!!!! So I wanted to give my sister a huge congrats lots of love Becky she is beautiful!!! the really cool part about her birth is that she was born on August 28th and that is my Hanks birthday and also my other niece lily kate so me and both of my sisters now all have a baby on the same day two years apart!!!!!

lily is 4 hank is 2 and Makenna is here!!!!! cool hu!!!!
we went out on the boat again and it was fun just like it always is the kids swam and it rained on us going 50 that kind of hurt but it was not cold so I wasn't hating it!!!!!!! this is a picture of Henry my now two year old and he loves every thing "Cars" the movie that is he is such a boy!!! and if you look down you will see what we got him for his birthday!!!!!
this is Sammy and she is 6 weeks old and the sweetest little girl she already sits when told and she does not cry all night and the best part is she was free she is all hound but two different kinds so they called her a mutt but I think she is great!!!!1 at 6 weeks she seems to be pretty smart!! I gave her a little baby blanket that she now drags around with her and also sleeps with It is just like another baby (that sleeps out side)

to day jasmine started the third grade I sooo can't believe she is that old already!!!! she just turned 8 and she acts every bit of it...... you know how girls are they like to act like they are 25!!!!

Jasmine said she was nervous about this school year cause she has to take a test to pass to the 4th grade!!! I told her that the test would be a breeze and that she worries to much!!!!!Okay well I have been sitting here all day and I said that I would clean the house today (if I got ta)

sorry about the light in this picture I just could not get it right!!!! It really looks soooooooo much better IRL! This card uses two of the new stamp set from PLShop. the first one is Beautiful thing, it is a two step flower set (so pretty). the other is called friends it is a sentiment set for all your pals, it also has some great border and background elements! I have a friend who is going to be haveing her 5th baby next month so I thought I would send this to her Maybe it will make her smile!!!!!

when making this card I was not sure I was going to finish it, it just was not coming together the way I wanted it to but in the end it might be my favorite this week!!!!

This is also my new fav set. yes I know I have said that every day this week, about 3 different sets. But they are all so good!!!!!! this is a two step set with many different flowers, this one is my fav. the set is called beautiful things!!!!!! it will be available on tue. the 26th

and this is also my new fav color combo it just tits together so well Baja breeze, kiwi kiss, and white!!!!! and buttons I just can not get enough of them!!!

who it not totally loving the new CB embossing folders well as you can see I really do!!!! I also really love this new set from little paper shop every image in it just screams TOTALLY IN STYLE very in tune with what the life style of a lot of americans are living today!!! I think it is so nice and freash just all together a very fun set to play with I will come back to it again and again!!!!!!

this was such a jun card to make, it is soooo different than anything I make, a bit out of the box!!! I did put a lot of thought into it (well I sat and watched TV) then it just came to me!!! I needed to make the tree bushy and I remembered the DP with the bird and it just all fell into place!!!

YEAH ME TWO DAYS IN A ROW!!!! This is this weeks SFYTT and I have not got to play with it for a while. I did how ever use some of the past weeks sketches for next weeks little paper shop release and they turned out great!!!

this card it really big I don't think you can tell by the picture but it is!!!!! it fits the large envelopes from SU I don't really like making this size card cause I don't have clear sleeves for then but on the plus side I do give them away faster!!!!
I do like the way this card turned out I love the colors kraft and baja breeze and some afternoon tea!!!
I also have a love affair with buttons I just can't seem to make a card with out them I think they are the best !!!!!

to all the SU demos out the have you seen the new holiday mini it is on the SU web sight and it rocks!!!!

any ways I am going for a walk now the boys really like to go out and walk in the evenings!!!!!

look ya'll I made a card AND posted it how cool is that!!!! I know it seems like forever ago I was posting every day, and how great that was but it is summer break and the kids are home all the time so we have been doing a lot with them! can someone out there why it is so hard to keep a house clean when you have 4 little helpers!!!! Okay they really are not that much help if anything they make all the messes and when it is time to clean it up I either have to do it myself or listen to the stinkers fit throughing!!!! arrrg

Jasmine starts school on the 25th and Ava is going into dance three classes Ballet tap and jazz I think it will be good for her them maybe next year I will put her in pre K that would be two down and 2 to go!!!

I like this card the best of all the cards I have made with this set and it was kind of fun to make !!!!!! I just sat in my new stamp room all by my self and stamped in total quiet, it was sooooo nice!!!!

now that I do have my own room, it is the only place I want to be in the entire house and I have got sooooooo much stamping done but I cant post it till net month (kinda stinky)!!!!!!!

so Jasmine starts school at the end of the month and I think I may try to find something for Ava a few days a week maybe then I can start posting everyday again!!! or not you know how it is.......... Family first!!!!

well off to stamp they are taking a nap and I have the time!!!!!!

I loved the mojo Monday sketch so much this week I had to make another. This time I went mini, this is a 3x3 love note I thought that the sweet little bear from H&M Stamps looked sooooooo cozy sleeping in the flowers!!!! and I had the bear already colored from an old project I was working on and all the bella rose scraps all over my table!!!!

here it is ya'll didn't believe me did ya!!!!! I know I am bad about saying i will post and them not doing it!!! I love love love the new DP from SU! but only the side with out the huge granny flowers it looks like really BAD wallpaper!!!! the other side is great I don't think I will be able to live with out it!!!! and to think I did not like any of the new in colors when I first saw them!!! okay I am going to take the kids out to play in the street now (park still closed) all of there little friends are out there and they have a bit of cabin fever!!

Hope you like the stamps are butterflies and blossoms from Little paper Shop and father knows best from PTI!!!!
