My mom and I had gone into a stamp store that we hit once or twice a month. I was looking at all of the wonderful stamps, and ran across this one. It looked used and stained, I just could not see paying $7.50 for one stamp that looked like that. I asked the lady about it and she said " well I guess I will just have to clearence it for a $1.50." Now who in there right mind could pass that up? Not me that is for sure!!!!!

just so you all know I did see that the pic in my gallery say's "harth" and not heart but it was just to late to fix it by the time I saw it ooooopps!!!!

Forgive me blogger friend it has been so long!!! I have not made anything since May and not realy had much want to. So, to be on the safe side and not get burned out like others that I know I have taken a break and done a whole lot of shopping. What could be better!! Now I think that I am all ready to start stamping again!

Well let me tell you more abou my shopping trip. I hit Gina K, Missy B, Wal-Mart and local scrap and stamp stores. I got my Prisma colored pencils and Gamsol. lots of DP and ribbon and had a hey day at the Mikes 1$ rack and that is just a start. I have not even made my first order from the new SU catty!!!!!!! OH yah I also finly bought myself a desk.

In other news I am viseting family in Oregon for the summer and the kids are haveing a great time hanging out with cousins and friend. they are all grtting so big and they are all very strong willed little stinkers!

we are going on the family's yearly camping trip this weekend and I will ley every one know how that go's but it should be a blast!!

new pics of the kiddos on our trip most of then are from the fouth of july, we had a pinic at the beach with my sister and her husband and my mom and dad and of my rugrats the fireworks were not much to behold but we had a wonderful time I could not ask for more right now every thing is good !!!!

BABY #4

I will be the first to say that when I found out my husband and I were going to have another baby joy was the farthest from my mind! But, since then I have kind of got excited and now I am full of joy! I am due DEC.27th of this year and the little heart beat was in the 170¢s. I also got to see the funniest 3D image of the little bugger with small bumps for arms and the tiniest legs I would love to say cute but, I was left wondering how that is a person. As for the pictures I know that there are so many people out there that look at an ultrasound picture and say what is it and I would think that most would say that on these so, I will help that blob in the middle that will be (is) my youngest child!

My bolg has been lonely lately and I think it's needing some attention so, I thought I would write a little something. Stamping has been slow although I did have my first demo party a week or so ago and it did well for only 4 people placing an order just over $600.00 I was thrilled to say the least and our stuff will be here on the 11th. The ladies and I can hardly wait to see the UPS truck pull up.
I was hopping that while my husband was away with friends and family that I would find some time to give my poor stamps some ink but, then I found out my children are truly insane when they know that daddy wont be home to tell them how it is. Not only that we just found out that number four is on the way and sweet little #4 wont let me leave the ever so comfy bathroom. Boy let me tell you this baby better be a true sweet heart because I have really had enough of being sick!!! Like I said I am getting new stamps tomorrow so, I might have to find the time to feel better. I'll make it a late night thing!
I think that I should also add that Ava is well on her way to being potty trained and she is loving every moment of it. She is so proud of herself. Henry now has two teeth and the little sucker knows how to use then maybe it is time to ween I wish I could say that I was ready to start that process but, I"m not!!!! Last but not least my beautiful Jasmine has become a pro on the roller blades.

My mom keeps saying that I need to update my blog so, fine here you go mommy a new card. One that I really kind of like and still don’t know what I want to use it for. I used big blooms for the stamping, So Saffron, Bordering Blue. Cameo Coral, Sage Shadow and last my bold little touch, Real Red. I felt it worked on this card because the basic grey DP has bright red spots on it !!
I am so excited! My very first demo party is on Friday and we are going to make Cami's tri-fold card and two 6x6 brag book pages, it will be a blast. There will be ten women there some I know and some I don’t but all are more into scrapbooking than card making. Me, I would rather make card. I have such a hard time with finding a good layout and where to put the pics that I end up wasting a ton of paper and giving up……… that is until I found page maps they are a great place to find the best layout for scrap booking.

These are the pages that I chose I hope the ladies will love then to!!!! Wish me luck!!

I just decided this morning that I was going to cut my hair, it has been way over a year since my last cut and it was just time. I gathered up some of my girlfriends for support hoped in the truck and was on my way. I knew what I wanted and what I was going to do with the hair once it had been cut. I followed in the foot steps of my 7 year old niece who just yesterday went and had her hair cut and being the kind hearted little lady that she is said that she wanted to donate it to Locks Of Loveand you can find that link here http://www.locksoflove.org/ so I am doing the same. So it was pampering for me and hair for another little person with medical problems that kept there own hair from growing. You have to feel good about that right? Well, my husband asked me to make a birthday card for an old friend. Big Blossom came to mind even though I have never used it before (I even had to mount it). After I made the first card and I haven¢t made anything in two weeks, I just couldn't stop it was just so much fun.
The first card
Is not my favorite but I do like the idea to use ribbon for the stem, (idea found at http://www.twisted-chick.blogspot.com/) I love love every thing she makes. Well, when it was all done I started looking at it and just thought there was to much going on so I had to try again!
Card #2
I like this card much better less to look at and not as heavy, a real simple good for anything card, with bright happy colors. I will add the sentiment later when I decide what I want to use it for. Both card 1& 2 will fit in a reg. mailing envelope. They are cheaper to buy ;).

I think that I like this one the best. I have always liked the warmer colors and this is warn. I went with the fibers on this one only because they matched when none of my ribbon would. I used Big Blooms for the center and added a button and more fibers to top it off. Tell me what you think!!!

Just To Cut Paper!!!!!

I was going to post this card days ago and never got around to it. I really fell in love with the size of this card. It's sized to fit in a regular mailing envelope and even though you can only get one card out of a piece of 81/2x11 inch card stock I think this will be the size I use most of the time. When folded this card is 31/2 x 61/2 inches. I just have so many ideas that go best on a thinner card.
I used some colors that I thought I would never use. I have never liked the thought of using very vanilla until I bought some that is and now, I never use Whisper White. The other colors are Pumpkin Pie, More Mustard and Really Rust. They Weren¢t my favorites either but, I love them now and they go so well with the new Basic Grey paper. I used my super cute brads I got from the Oriental Trader and the bestest Wally-World ribbon ever. I also used some Stampin' Up ribbon. Just to let you all know I do not have a Cuttle Bug so the embossing is done on Fiskars texture plates first with the Fiskars tool and then with a stylus. I have to say my hand did hurt by the time I was done but, I got the look I was going for. And last but not least is the stamp set; it is YOU MAKE ME HAPPY and yes, it does make me happy. I didn¢t like it at first but, now it sits at the top of my favorite pile.
So can any body tell the theme of this card ? I was trying to show some love to the items that I liked the least. Excluding the brads and ribbon (I always like brads and ribbon). I'm not sure what I'm going to do with this card yet but, I have it when I need it!!! Thanks for reading! :D

Advice Please! The Terribles Two's!

Can anybody tell me what to do with the worlds most defiant child. Ava is a sweet kid when she need to be but, when there is no need and there is nothing she want’s nice and sweet go out the window. Ava screams in my face and runs from me when she knows I can't go after her. She waits until I sit down to feed her brother to jump off of the stairs, run out the front door in to the street, mess her pants and pull food either out of the refrigerator or the trash. And this is just my morning.
Now, it 's time to eat so, Ava takes this time to make her biggest messes. Food on the floor, in her hair, on her clothes and then when she decides she is done the plate hit’s the floor. I have to laugh while inside I feel like I have lost complete control and if I don’t laugh I am going to have a break down. At times I feel like I am going to implode.
Now comes the worst part of the day……… bed time. Some nights I put Ava into bed nine or ten times. I have to be honest and say that her behavior impart is my fault. I will blame some on her age but, the biggest part of why she is the way she is, is the lack of communication and team work between my husband. I need help before it's to late and I can't repair the damage that has been done. I am so scared that she is going to get hurt.
Ava came into this world screaming her head off and had figured out defiance by the time she could crawl. I was worried that there was something wrong with my little girl because when you would talk to her she would close her eyes real tight, so I asked her doctor and she said, "No there is nothing medically wrong with her. The only thing wrong was that she doesn't want to listen to you. Plain and simple she is being defiant. Good luck with that one!" And those words are burned into my memory and I think that I should have sought out help then!
So dose anybody else think that this is a simple case of the terrible two’s or do I have a real problem any comment with helpful advice or just words of encouragement would be great thank for reading!
