Not colors I would think to put together, but when it is all said and done I think I like it!!!!!! This set is called blessing and it in from this months release at LPS the DP is from PTI and the grunge is from Tim Holtz I kind of used this months DD sketch, other than that I kind of kept it simple!

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who still comes to this blog! when it comes to my creative mojo, it is all hit and miss. I think it may be back this week, as for next week who knows, but I have been having a blast playing some of the blog, and SCS challenges. So again thank you!!!!

MOJO Monday!

See I told ya I be back and here I am!!!! This is my card for MOJO Monday great sketch!!

I have been slowly going through my ribbon bits and pieces for for a while i will not be using large amounts of it!!! I have to quit being so wasteful!!

I could not find my Swiss dots and really wanted it for this card but did fins birds and swirls and think it worked well the main image is PTI and the sentiment is LPS my two faves for the best clear stamps!!! all paper is SU! and all the embellishment were from yesterdays treasure hunt around my room!!!!! I hope you like and TFL

Oops No Stop Sarah!!!!

Wow you should so see my room right now!!!! I got out every stamp every pack of old DP every old embelishment I have ever stored away!!! I found some really great stuff. I am calling this my treasure hunt!!!! The frame around the main image i got at hobby lobby like 5 years ago! the ribbon is from my coffee can of scrap ribbon the fake due drops have not been used forever! well most of my stuff hasn't I got all but the Kiwi Kiss out of the scrap box and I even got out something besides Swiss dots for the cuttle bug!!! The stamps are last years PTI sets, even the grunge board is something I had forgotten about!!! what a fun stamping day!!! and I even made time to clean the kitchen today. I feel very productive to day!!!!

now that I have stamped just for the heck of it I should probably clean my huge mess up I think I may only leave a small stack of stamps out and slowly go through them!!!!! I found 15 plus stamp sets that have never been used what a waist!!!

I think but can't be sure that I might be back tomorrow

with another card and I have some really funny pics of Thatcher eating dirt out of the garden!!!

the winner and a tutorial!!!

I thought if I am going to do a tutorial I should start out easy and hope ya'll like and want more!!!! I went with the felt flower for the first tutorial, mostly because most every one who reads this blog is a paper crafter, and most of you have the nesties dies.

It does move kind of quickly, and I am sorry about that, I am new to this and I could not figure out how to slow it down, but I will work on that for the next tutorial!!!!!!

the next tutorial I will be doing is a small stash and dash hand bag great for quick trips, or even a night out with the ladies! I love mine so I will be working on that so ya'll can make one to!!!!

some one asked if they could buy a bag from me, and I would be more than happy to do that!!! at this time I do not have a lot to choose from, but if you gave me an idea of color and size of pattern, I could work something out. I am more than happy to take check, postal money order, or paypal!!!!! the shoulder bag I showed in the blog candy post is $45.00 that includes shipping

Please don't think I have given up on stamping. I think that I was, and kind of still am in a creative funk. So I went with sewing to clear my head for a while!!!

I still have littler paper shop keeping me stamping every month, and I had a few comment that had me digging through my old stamps to see what I could come up with!!!!! I really think that the 25 comment I got will make my return to crafting soooooooo much easier!!!!!

I made the top bag for my sister, and then it happened. I fell in love with it, and then wanted to keep it for myself!!! I just could not do that....... mostly because I already told her I made it. So I went ahead and made one for me!! the blue one!!!!!!!!

So here is what I am going to do because I did not post blog candy when I said I would I am going to make one more of these pretty bags and I am going to stuff it with some stamping odds and ends!!!!!

jeeeezzzz i missed it

did you all see I missed my own blogaversary what kind of a blogger am i!!!!!

So I have two cards this week both for little paper shop realise and they have all kinds of cool stuff going on with new DT members and new stamp there is just to much to talk about the so please go see the LPS Blog for all the deets you wont want to miss !!!

so this is the first of two like I said before! this is a beautiful sentiment set great for mothers and fathers day birthday or any event you have with mom and dad!! it is called bound by the heart and it is full of beautiful sentiment's!!!!

how dose you garden grow!!!

My DH and I have decided to plant a garden this year, we chosen a spot and tilled the ground it has all been a very fun process. then I stop and think for a second................... I have never been able to keep anything but kids alive so I have to ask myself what am I thinking!!!!!!!!

so now that I have a huge garden tilled up and waiting for it to quit freezing over night some pointers from some one who knows what they are doing would be great!!!

we Have Started many different veggie seeds in our garage and most of them have started to sprout woo hoo now I am going crazy wanting to get them in the ground!!!

please I would love to hear what ya'll have to say and any help would be fab!!!

My Newest Hand Bag!!!

I made this a week or so ago and thought that I would share it with you to day!!! I was going to make a card and i still might, but my DH twisted his back and has been put on strict bed rest!!!!! I am sure you ladies know how men get when they are hurt either they turn into cry babies or they just don't listen and end up hurting them selves more mine is a combo of both so stamping on this fine day is most likely out!! The only reason I am able to blog is cause I have the laptop on the bed sitting right next to him!!! What ever I don't mine he takes care of us everyday!!!

I Picked up this pattern when I went home a few weeks ago and it is Amy Butler ( my fav) and the fabric I got at your run of the mill craft store I frays a lot till you get it sewn together not the best but it is pretty!!!!

this crazy little thing we call life!!!!

last week I want home to attend my 94 year old grandmothers funeral, now let it be known that I did not know my grandmother very well it had been nearly 9 years scenes I had seen her last, Jasmine was 9 days old!!! When I has gone to Oregon for my sisters wedding my dad went to see his mom. He told me that she only had some small idea of who he was! the nurse told her "this is Joe" and she looked at him and said "I have a son named Joe". I think that would rip my heart out to have my mother not know who I was she is the one I always call home to weather it be good news, or bad, most often it is just to talk about nothing!!!! My dad took it for as long as he could stand, having a sneaking feeling that it would be the last time he would get to see her. he was right!!!! My dad is a sensitive guy the kind of guy that cries at the airport when he tells you good bye, or when he has just a little to much to drink (you know the kind sitting there crying in there beer) he even cried the day Jasmine was born, but I had never seen tears like the day he laid his mom to rest!!!! I was so sad for him I think I would have been mad at myself for skipping this on they all said don't worry about making the trip. Having 4 kids and it being clear across the US!! but my DH for the first time in our 8 years had a completely selfless moment, and got me the plane ticket and sent me on my way with out the kids (must admit that was so great to not fly with the kids) and I went to be with my dad in the saddest time for him!!

It is really had to believe even at 94 and being old as long as I have known her to here some the the truly inspiring thing that she had done in her life! I won't go into all of her life with ya'll just let me tell you she was a very strong and amazing woman who lived a had life with endless obstucles and made the best of every moment!!!! what a fabulous life she had I only hope that when it is my time that great things will be said about me as well!!!
