What a fun layout, I love a good don't make your head hurt layout. I think that this will be one I come back to again and again!!!!

I could not wrap my mind around Yesterdays CC to me it was the worst one I have ever seen I don't think that I have ever even cut a piece of YO YO Yellow and both of the grays are far to pretty for that yellow!!!!! and I had two extra kids yesterday so the stamp side of my brain was in the off position all day!!! I did sit at my desk with a hand full of CS but nope I could not turn it back on!!!

WOW!!!

I say WOW because I have 90 posts and over 15,000 hits on my counter I did not know that many people read my blog so thank you each and every one of you who hang out here in my little blog it means the world to me!!!

this first card is what my mom called pretty primary ( in color that is) but for a child and a boy child I think that primary just fits this is just another b-day card that I have been stocking up on I don't think you can ever have to many b-day card and men and boys being that hardest that is what I am focusing on!!!

this is a criss cross card and the blossom on the front is today's TLC153 "Dahlia" fold it was way easy and the second I saw it I knew it had to go on this style of card I so think that I will make a few more of these today ! this is for today's IC112 I kind of had a hard time with this one but I think it had something to do with all the cold meds I have been taking!! this is the car that I made for today's LSC this is not the style the I am into but for the LSC I am more than happy with it and I got to use up a good pile of scraps seen below!!!

the first picture is what I started with and the 2nd picture is what is left most is to small to use again but there is still some life in some of it

card base is Kraft there is some VV and bordering blue some basic black and cool Caribbean the ink is tempting turquoise bordering blue and basic black and just a big mess of all kinds of ribbon!!! I hope you like and TFL!! :D

I LOVE YOU!!!

After spending all afternoon cleaning my stamp space I felt all in the mood for some stamping so I made my niece's b-day card(see it in last post) then when that was done I sat there at my desk thinking I could sure use some new stamps , and no sooner had the thought entered my mind when my DH walked in the room with the mail and in the mail was........ yep you guessed it new paper tray ink stamps!!!! I could hardly wait to put ink to these babies , so I didn't. well I didn't wait long first I finished cleaning the rest of my house!! so yes to day was a good stamping day!!!
so here we go with the card

I used this weeks SC over at SCS for the 2nd time, I sponged all the edges of the Kraft with close to cocoa and from there the rest of the card was a matter of layering this card is for my DH for V-Day and the only V-Day card I am giving this year!!!

This is the card that I made for my sweet little niece she turns ONE today, and what a sweet little thing she is. So funny and full of life. My sister got lucky with that one ....... but she is expecting #2 and I so hope she has a little snot, so not fair that I have all the turds in the family. the inspiration for this card came from Miss Beate it a card that I found in her gallery I just put my own twist on it you can see that card here

SC160 and a better pic of old card!!!

this has to be short I took all day on the SC just trying not to use embrace life and nothing was working so I got my fave little flowers back out of the place I hid them in (next time have DH do the hiding) and went to work on card attempt #4 what a day!!!!
this is the better Pic I promised of a card that I am soooooooooooo in love with I so badly want to sent it to some one who will enjoy it I have a picture of it now and I have got to quit keeping all the cards I like the best but is just so hard to let go!!!

new light box

my DH got me a light box for my photos it just showed up on the door step I though it was some more of his hunting goodies because it came from the sportsman's guide he also got me a big wooden box for all my pens and small tools it is beautiful

about the card

I used embrace lift (again). I masked the flowers then colored them with my prisma color pencils and blended them with Mona Lisa MS so relaxing to just sit and color I finished the card last night while Thatcher was keeping me up anyways, I used old olive close to cocoa and Kraft CS and a piece of watercolor paper!!! TFL

the only reason that I am posting this card today is because I needed people to stop by here and help to answer some product ?'s this is my per shopping spree research so that I can be happy with my choices not scared that I made the wrong one!!! First thing is the markers I really want the copic's but if prismacolor are close to the same thong and I have seen them for 100.00 less than the copic then I Will get them but if they are not equal I would like to know from someone who has used then both what the diff. is and why they think one is better than the other!!!! I know you are saying I must be crazy just go shopping already but I have to know all of the deet's before I spent the $$$$

Next is photo software what is the best I have wanting adobe photo shop for a while now and have been to chicken to by it what dose it program do can I make the watermarks with this and do digital scrap booking this is all must know info before I drop that many $$$ on computer software.

Moving on to the camera should I go Cannon or Nikon I would love to here some goodies about both if you have it.

Now for the SU demo's out there have you seen the Occasions mini catty OMG I so can not wait this is the best grouping of stamps that SU has put out in FOREVER I am so going to go for broke with this shopping spree. Now if the W2 would just get here so I can stop dreaming about shopping and just go !!!!!

I almost forgot to tell you about the card, I used close to cocoa Kraft so saffron and ruby red textured card stock, Kraft ribbon brads the flowers are from embrace life and I used the wax resist tech. then water colored them on Kraft CS I did 6 of them and then layered one on top of the other to add demotion the sentiment is from delite in life TFL!!!

I love this card

I really do love it hate the picture love the card I have not loved a card I have made in over a month and I love this one and could not wait to post it !!! That is Okay it will make me post again tomorrow so you can see a better picture!!! and what a fun LO I am so going to make another one.

well my house is a HUGE MESS and I have big plans to be up all night with THATCHER anyways so I am going to pull an allnighter and super clean this pigsty so I can have the rest of the weekend to just play with the kiddos and stamp (wish me luck with that)

I know putting a title like poop on a post with pretty cards it has to make you ask why and I am here to tell you it is because I have had no time to do ANYTHING not stamp shower or even get dressed I have only had time to change a few thousand poopy DIAPERS and go in circles cleaning up after the kids. Can some body please tell me how one baby someone who weighs 10LBS can add entire load of laundry a day and why when I think I have it all don I step back in to room A and it dose not look like I have done any thing and the laundry has piled back up.. And why oh why do kids through there food on the floor when they can just say all done let me out of this chair!!!
Okay so let me tell you about the cards both use the CC149 I so did not like this challenge till I put the cards together my first thought was Emily must have used the close your eyes and point method of picking the colors and them I made the cards and I think I will use this color combo again and again it they just work!!! I started with the 6x6 piece of apricot textured card stock and then added the strip of sage and the pretty DP most of us got for free from SU. moving on to the ribbon and the to the main image withe I started by cutting out with my coloozle and the sponged the edges with apricot giving it a warmer look then I traced the main oval on sage and cut it out with my craft scissors doing the same on the first card with the flowers and finishing the card off by adding stickles to the center of the flowers!!!

Just a quick post today I needed some birthday cards because I am out I have none for men women or children so that is my main focus for right now not only that I am so not a fan of the V-day card don't get me wrong I love to get them not so fond of making the!!!!
