LSC137

I have been trying to take a cleaner simpler approach to card making lately and I think if I keep doing the LSC I might just get it. The really hard part is that I really LOVE ribbon and it is sooo hard to not put it on the card!!! I had stamped out some leaves to put on this card and I still kind of think it needs something but now that I already have it uploaded I don't think I am going to add them! I made the ribbon with a 12x1 piece of textured card stock that I crumbled stressed beat up and smashed till it looked like fabric of some kind then folded the bow and crumbled some more so it did not look flat!!! I stamped the flowers on textured paper so that they kind of looked like a tapestry or painted canvas

the colors I used are always artichoke, pumpkin pie really rust, so saffron, more mustard all on VV

thanks for stopping by please tell me what you think!!!

I love this card! I love the clean elegant look! Of course when ever I try for that look it ends up looking plain!!

I can't believe the ribbon is cardstock! Will have to attempt that....
